Terms of use
Last updated 5 October 2026
HourRing is free to use. By using it you accept the terms below. They are short on purpose.
- Provided as is. The app is offered without warranty of any kind. We do not promise that it will be available, accurate, or free of faults.
- Your data can be lost, and that is how it works. Everything is stored in your browser. Clearing your browsing data, using private mode, or a browser evicting storage will erase it, and we cannot recover it because we never had it. Export your report regularly if it matters to you.
- Not a timekeeping system of record. The timer and the report are a personal aid. Do not rely on them for billing, payroll, legal or medical purposes.
- Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from using the app, including lost data, lost time or lost income.
- Fair use. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, break into it, or use it to break the law.
- Changes. Features may change or be withdrawn at any time, and these terms may be updated; the date above will change with them.
